“i am mine.

before i am ever anyone else’s.”

Bring the weird and the wonderful, the sacred and the profane. I welcome all parts of you here.

As therapists, we are called to a labor of love. To answer that call is to engage in the intimate study of self, other, and the relationship between the two. In my work as a clinical supervisor, I support associates in a quest of deep self-inquiry to find their own unique offering to this field. In uncovering our own inner wisdom, we can take our seat as sovereign healers.

In my lineage from student to teacher, I have trained closely with Kim Wylder for nearly a decade, both during my associateship and after becoming a licensed practitioner. My approach is Gestalt-based, relational, transpersonal, and somatic. Along with being a licensed MFT and clinical supervisor, I am a yoga instructor and Mindfulness Grieving Facilitator. I have been inspired and profoundly impacted by the work and teachings (amongst others) of Kim Wylder, Tara Brach, Eduardo Duran, Judy Blume, Toko-pa Turner, Taiwo Afuape, Elizabeth Gilbert, N.K. Jemisin, Fritz Perls, Maria Montessori, and Lori Jo Bossy.

I believe that we can only support others to traverse terrain that we have been willing to walk ourselves. I believe that offering therapy is answering a call to meet each other in our shared liberation. I invite associates to consider their own relationship with oppressive structures around them. This includes engaging in shadow work as a meaningful and necessary part of the supervision process. Through this work, I have witnessed and experienced how untangling internalized oppression can lead to expansive growth, joy, aliveness, and ultimately, more freedom.

Like so many healers, I found my way into this work by confronting my own wounds. I am a truth seeker, an adventurer, and a lifelong learner. I am committed to ongoing practices of therapy, journaling, meditation, and yoga as I work to integrate my own shadowy parts towards a more holistic Self. I am a queer, able-bodied, cis-gendered, light-skinned Latine woman. I believe in the healing potential within us all. I believe in magic, in mine and in yours.
